  Good morning! I am glad you're here 😄. Today I want to talk about what I am currently crocheting. Grab your crochet hooks, a cup of coffee, and let's get into it! I took this a few weeks ago, one Sunday evening. Thomas and I were hanging out on the deck with our dogs, enjoying the warm weather. I should be finishing up with these hot-girl squares and I'll let you know what I make of them! I learned how to make a new hot-girl square... a skull hot-girl square! They are so cute and so much easier than I thought they would be! I decided to learn how to make them one morning a couple weeks ago when Thomas and I were at the beach. It was a perfect morning. We grabbed iced lattes and acai bowls from our favorite beachside cafe, and enjoyed the entire morning in the sand.  My first one kind of resembled a storm trooper, but I have gotten a little better since this picture! Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be able to knit and crochet. As crazy as it sounds. I used to think (and I totally still do) that knitting something with a beautiful color yarn and drinking a hot cup of tea or coffee would be the epitome of cool adulthood. I can remember being a little girl, about six or seven, at Granny's house. I would take one of her Afghans off the couch, drape it over my legs and use pencils to pretend I was making it myself. I was a strange kid.  Anyway, I am kind of self taught at crocheting and knitting, so they are both not very good. After watching and rewinding dozens of videos, I have muddled my way through some blankets and scarves, even a sweater that is... let's just say it is better left hanging up in the darkest part of my closet.
