My Favorite TV Shows

Hello and welcome back! This is a random post, but I am having fun with it today! I am going to list 10 of my favorite TV shows in order from least favorite to most favorite. This is challenging because some of my favorite shows had AMAZING seasons and then the last season was a complete flop for me. So, I will specify when that is the case.

Let's begin.

10. The Vampire Diaries - Damon. No, I'm just kidding! I loved this show so much. My sister watched it way before I did. I had caught some of the episodes with her and thought this show was way to ridiculous, but then I started watching it, and omg. It is great. It gets better as it goes on, which is so crazy. I loved watching this show. Plus, it's great to have on during the fall. Vampires, witches and werewolves are perfect for spooky season.

9. Ted Lasso - This show made me feel so happy. Every episode made me want to be a better person. I love positive people. Some people love being miserable and negative; I love being positive and joyful.

8. Friends - I mean come on, my dogs are named Joey and Chandler. There are some episodes I can recall to myself, and then I will be laughing out loud two seconds later. This show is iconic.

7. Emily in Paris - Honestly, I mainly like the fashion and aesthetic of this show. I love how much Lilly Collins favors Audrey Hepburn. This show is usually on in the background for me.

6. Sex and the City - This show can definitely be trashy, but I love girl friends, dressing up, going out for cocktails so much. It is comforting. I like the femininity that each character brings in her own way.

5. Gilmore Girls - Speaking of comforting, I always feel comforted watching this show. I love the constant mention of coffee, how it's always fall, and when Rory goes to Yale, meets Logan. That's my favorite part of the show.

4. The Chosen - This show was done so well. I LOVE it. I personally think everyone in the world should have the opportunity to watch it.

3. Parks and Rec - This show has so many memorable quotes, scenes, characters. I can always sit down and watch this show. Leslie Knope is one of my favorite characters ever. She is so cute and funny. I love how passionate she is about her work. I love whenever they all go out to the Snake Hole Lounge, or go camping together. This show is just hilarious.

2. One Tree Hill - I am a bandwagon OTH fan. I was way too young when it was on CW network, but I came across it on, I think it was Netflix at the time, when I saw my cousin watching it. I watched a couple episodes with her and was hooked. It really is timeless. The characters are just so well done, especially Nathan and Hayley. I will say, the season where they start with a 4 year jump in the future is the downfall of the show, in my opinion. I just loved it when they were in high school so much more. But I guess it would have been even more unrealistic if they had been in high school for 10 years. I wish they would have followed them into college though instead of leaving us with a gap of nothing.

1. Severance - The best show ever. I love every single character, the theme song, everything. The plot is so crazy. I cannot wait for the next season!

That is my list! I am sure it will change as more and more shows come out, but this is it as of today.

I will see you tomorrow!

Our Last Monday in August

Good morning! I am glad you're here 😄. Today I want to talk about what I am currently crocheting. Grab your crochet hooks, a cup of coffee, and let's get into it! I took this a few weeks ago, one Sunday evening. Thomas and I were hanging out on the deck with our dogs, enjoying the warm weather. I should be finishing up with these hot-girl squares and I'll let you know what I make of them! I learned how to make a new hot-girl square... a skull hot-girl square! They are so cute and so much easier than I thought they would be! I decided to learn how to make them one morning a couple weeks ago when Thomas and I were at the beach. It was a perfect morning. We grabbed iced lattes and acai bowls from our favorite beachside cafe, and enjoyed the entire morning in the sand.  My first one kind of resembled a storm trooper, but I have gotten a little better since this picture! I also decided that I am going to make blankets for my family and friends. I have mentioned this before, b...

Fall 2025 Goals!

Hello! I don't know about you, but I am absolutely ready for this long weekend. I have had a crazy week at work.  Anyway, I want to dedicate this post to my Fall 2025 Goals!  In no particular order, here is a list of some of my goals: 1. Decorate - I want to go all out this year. I have a blow up Snoopy and Great Pumpkin inflatable in my Walmart shopping cart online. I want to have a pretty assortment of pumpkins out on my stoop. Last year, we didn't really have decorations up for the trick-or-treaters, and I want to go all out this year. I will definitely be posting pictures of my progress! 2. Watch lots of football - This will be easy as my husband, Thomas, has an entire room in our house dedicated to watching games. Of course, I will be crocheting blankets while he has the game on tv.  3. Dress up for Halloween - We will probably go to one of our friend's Halloween parties this year, and I am excited to dress up! I'm not sure what Thomas and I will go as, but I am ex...

Decor, Discipline, and Maybe even a Scented Candle🍂🕯️

Good morning, reader! I feel a mindful essay coming on! Grab a coffee and maybe a notebook, because this essay has some numbered bullet points!  I have been thinking about discipline a lot lately. I feel like it goes hand in hand with attention span, self-awareness, and ambition. Is it becoming more and more rare? They say with smart phones, everyone's attention spans are diminishing. I have noticed this with myself sometimes. This is not a judgement- just an observation I've made about myself and the world around me. And I want to refine it for myself. I want to be disciplined so that I can live my dream life.  I am dedicating this post to 3 ways to be more disciplined in a world that has little to none. So, let's begin! 1. Why do you want this? I believe you should first recognize why you want to achieve something. Is it for your health? Is it for your career? Maybe it's less extreme than that. Maybe it's for your home to be decorated for Halloween. Whatever it ...
